Backup Exec on local machine

Hi
When I try and backup my local Machine (Server 2003)it gives me the following error in Backup Exec 10.d

"The Media Server was unable to connect to Remote Machine SPECJHBSBS01
The Media Server will fall back on the local agent to try and complete the operation.
Remote Agent not detected on SPECJHBSBS01."

It is only one machine
I have checked the firewall issue in Sp1 Server 2003. Firewall not running.
I have checked my logon accounts. They are correct.

Is the Remote Agent service started on your server?

Yes, even local backups go through the "remote agent" service.
