Backup Exec with AOFO problem

Neil_Wright
Not applicable
We have a server that has been backing up fine for a few months and now we are getting this error message.

AOFO: Initialization failure on: "C:". Advanced Open File Option used: VERITAS Volume Snapshot Provider (VSP).
Snapshot provider error (0xE0008516): Resources specified for snapshot do not have any valid data on them. Check if files were deleted or renamed

I've re-run the Advanced Open File Option Wizard from the Tools menu - that didn't help.

I've checked the backup options and the backup is set to "Automatically select open file technology". I've tried specifing VSP as AOFO technology and it didn't help. I've also tried the option "Process logical volumes for backup one at a time"

The C drive has a total capacity of 14.6GB with currently 6.47 GB free. The D drive has a capacity of 121GB with currently 26GB free.
