Per company policy, I have recently started testing my backups to make sure they write back to the drive fine.
Each time I have done this, my regularly scheduled backup hangs half-way through at different points (so far. )
It has happened on different jobs, media sets, and tapes.
I found a few cases where people had posted (news groups) this same problem with the backup hanging after they performed a restore job. I was unable to find the fix online.
Has there been a fix released for this problem?
