Backup Jobs instantly queue on Exabyte Library

Full backups instantly go to queue status with 0% complete.

Here is the configuration:
Proliant ML370 G3 running Windows 2003 Server Enterprise SP1
BU Exec 9.1 Rev 4691 with Agent for Microsoft SQL Server 2000
Tape library is Exabyte VXA 1x10 1U firmware V1A109 SCSI ID 3 using Veritas driver 5.0
Tape drive is Exabyte VXA-2 firmware 2107 SCSI ID 2
SCSI controller is on board HP 64-bit dual channel wide ultra 3 using Adaptec driver version 6.4.645.100

We're backing up SCA hard drives connected to an HP smart array 641 controller. At one point we were getting successful backups. Anybody else had this problem or have any suggestions? BTW nothing in BU Exec is paused and everything is enabled. Thanks, Charles

Does the job work on a backup to disk folder?

Check if there are any active alerts in BE during the backup!
