Backup Lotus Domino fails under Windows 2003 Server

We migrated our Lotus Domino Server (5.0.10) from Windows 2000
Server to Windows 2003 Server. We upgraded BackupExec to Rev. 4961. Now the Backup of the Domino Server fails (0xa000e380) the error is "Database is in use - skipped". This error appears for every
Domino Database on the server. The Vertitas Domino Agent is installed and the domino translog is activated. Why doesnt the backup work?

If you check the job log you may see that certain files are skipped : The most common files which are skipped are the database and template files installed by Norton Antivirus for Lotus Domino Server.

These files cannot always be protected as they are locked by the third party software application.
We would suggest you to deselect those files from the backup selections and then try doing the backup .
Also if you could try disabling the antivirus before doing the backup .
