I'd like to install BE2012SP2 on a server running the current versions of MS server software (W2012 + SQL Server 2012). These products have been in market for some time now (W2012 R2 and SQL Server 2014 will be release in the not too distant future) and I still don't see any media server support. Is Symantec going to provide support for these with BE2012? (Yes, I know they can be backed up but BE2012 but having to maintain old server infrastructure to support the server engine is far from ideal).
If you read the forums, it has been mentioned that support for Win2K12 as a media server will come with the next release...not sure if that is via a patch, or something like BE 2012 R2.
