Hi there,

we are running BE 11d (12.5 also) is there a possibility to backup all Joblists, Selectionlists & Policy,

so they are restoreable in worst case.

I does not mean to backup the media server itself.

Best Regards

Markus

Well the jobs & selection lists are saved in the BE database. So you wont be able to

select them individually. You will have to backup or copy the entire database.

Hello

Refer to the below link to copy the media server configuration

 http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH37072

You may also take a backup of the DATA folder which contains the backup exec

database. Its located at X:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec

Note: Stop the SQL server BKUPEXEC service before copying the DATA folder

Hi Amol,

thanks, i know about "copy configuration to another server"

What i want to know is, could i copy or backup the Job- & Selectionlists to a Folder on a Fileserver and restore them from it, without the server has an remote agent or is a media server?

Best Regards

Markus
