Backup error after Windows update.

Hi!

I have a Windows 2000 server with an autoloader and Backupexec 9.1. After having run windows update last week on the server the backup dosent work anymore.

The backup job starts and reach approx 5GB and then i get an CRC-error message. This is the case on every tape in the autoloader.

Is there any problems with the latest MS-updates and Backupexec?

Should i install any hotfix/servicepack for Backupexec?

Where can i download the hotfix/servicepack in that case?

Regards Henrik

Hello,

please check whether the autoloader is "tested" in the list below, if yes then please install latest veritas drivers from the link below:
HCL for Robotic library:
http://support.veritas.com/docs/271383

HCL for stand alone drives:
http://support.veritas.com/docs/271382

VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) 9.1 - Device Driver Installer (20050115) - Includes Tape Driver Release (20041231) and Robotic Library Release (45) (Intel Only) http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/273853.htm

If not tested then please install latest manufacturers and then verify the result.

Also Please check for the exact error in the event viewer.

Thanks,
