Backup exec 15 problem with Oracle Database

Hi all,

I have a backup exec 15 that is backing up for oracle database, the database was up and running , the tape that is used to backup the database got full and give an attention to change it, once this happens the database stops working, the job is taking backup for the drives C: , D: , V: (the one contain the database).

we removed the database and reinstalled and got the data from the dump that is stored in the local drive of server,

any clue why this happen ??

Please give more details about "Database stops working" ? Is it that after tape gets full , oracle instance stopped and when you try to open it you cannot? If yes what errors do you get when you try to open the database. Alert log file of the oracle instance should have some information and clue about it in that case.

Also please consider checking the space on the oracle server, deleting Archive logs after backing up, etc.
