Backup exec 2010 R3 and Vmware Vcenter 5 with SQL 2008 r2 sp1 on the same server

Hi

A customer has advised me that they require backup exec 2010 r3 and Vmware vcenter 5 on the same server.

Is Sql 2008 R2 sp1 supported as a backend database to Backup Exec 2010 R3.

Also are there any compatibility issues with both Backup exec 2010 r3 and Vmware Vcentre residing on the same server.

 This implementation is for a maximum of 10 servers as remote agents.

We don't recommnd installing BE in same SQL instance as other applications, however you can install multiple SQL instances on one windows server.

Currently our SCL does not list SQL 2008 R2 SP1 as a supported location for a Backup Exec database repository although SQL 2008 without the R2 is listed
