Backup exec 8.6 confirmation problem

We have a windows 2000 server with a seagate sdlt tape drive using veritas 8.6 For the past month it has stopped the backup and verify at 99% and asks for confirmation before it will complete, it never used to ask for this

We have not changed the backup routine or schdule, in the past in ran the backup overnight and then ejected the tape. THe current backup times to comparable till the point it stops and waits for confirmation.

Can anyone suggest where to look to correct the problem

What do you mean by "confirmation"?

Are you getting a "remove tape and respond OK" prompt? if so, you can either remove the Eject-on-End from the job description or see http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/192055.htm for some tweaks you can make to AutoRespond to this alert
