Backup help how do you do it?

I�m new to backup exc is there is a doc what to backup on the server and exchange( remote backup) also if the DC went down emergency do I have to install windows, configure DHCP, DNS�etc then install backup exc restore files and folders..Etc i backup to Dell 124T LTO-2-L
