Backup not complete until tape is removed

Hi all,
Having some probelms with Backup Exec 12.5 Rev 2213, since we added a windows 2008 server Std edition the backup job does not complete until i physically remove the tape.

A discussion was started a while back but nothing came of it. Could someone offer some assistance.


BE is installed on a standard windows 2003 server R2 sp2

This particular feature has been around since v7.0 (that i am aware of)

Set up an AutoResponse to the "remove tape" prompt.  See

Or you can remove Eject on End from the job description
