I have a question on the new panther backup product. We have installed it on site here and it has been working flawlessly; however I have a question on a couple of issues the have risen.
Question #1: For a about a week or so the main server that I installed the panther 10.0 backup software on has been displayed as unavailable.
What do I do to remedy this problem. All the other servers are functioning without a problem, the server is listed as unavailable and therefore we cannot backup anything on that server.
Question #2: On the back up we have it scheduled to begin at 2:30 am, everyday. However when I come in to check the backup, it is listed as running. This becomes a problem because while the backup is running, it is utilizing a lot of valuable bandwidth. Do you know what is going on, is this a problem that you have seen before, if so I would really like to know what it is.
