I have a backup job of a server that will run once, but will not run again unless I reboot the server. On the 2nd day, the jobs sits there "pre-processing", but does not backup any data. If I cancel the job, it will stay "cancel pending" indefinitely. I can end the job by stopping the BE remote service on the target server, but if I restart the service, the same thing happens, the job hangs at pre-processing. If I reboot the target server, the backup will work normally again, once. I've removed the agent from the target server and reinstalled it. I've deleted the "backup to disk" folder and recreated it, but I still have the same problem. Any ideas?
