Backup to Drive not working - 0xa0008703

I'm receiving the error code 0xa0008703 when trying to backup to drive. It is failing on the capacity check status. It shows my online append capacity is 1,023 MB, but I have 80 GB free space on that drive. Any tips as to why it doesn't see the available space. It was seeing 0 MB available until I ran a backup of one file (1 mb). I did this just so I would be able to try a test run.

The first article doesn't apply to my situation as I'm trying to backup to disk drive and a regular backup fails as well as a test run.

The second article doesn't apply because I was able to do a backup less than 1gb to the backup folder, but it doesn't recognize anymore space being available eventhough I have 100GB free on that drive.

- Does this occur only on test backups?
- Create a new B2D and verify the results
- Do the actual jobs end with errors?
