Backup to disk files don't catalog properly

I am using backup-to-disk folder to backup individual mailboxes on my exchange server. I have the exchange server agent.
My file size limit for B2D files is 2GB. The job runs daily as an append job, and once a week as an overwrite job.
When I went to try a test restore, I look at the device, and inventory it. The inventory shows me 10 2GB media, numbered B2D000063, B2D000064, B2D000065, B2D000066, B2D000067, B2D000068, B2D000069, B2D000070, B2D000071, and B2D000076. The allocation times do not match the numerical media labels.
When I choose Restore from the context menu, I only see the first allocated media, B2D000063, and I can only select from the last 50 or so mailboxes alphabetically (in thiz case, first names that start with R-Z). Why doesn't the catalog reflect the contents of all the media? Why can't I view each individual B2D file?

Found the problem was in my backup, not the catalog process.
