BackupExec 10 Install Problem

I go through the install wizard and choose to use an existing SQL instance and provide the server name. Then when the install process starts it still tries to install the SQL Desktop Engine, and then the install fails. I'm installing on Windows Server 2003, no service pack 1.Message was edited by:

Hello,

The problem can occur when the existing SQL production instance is used to run Backup Exec. We highly recommend not to use any existing SQL instance.
Backup Exec should always be installed using its own MSDE instance.
