Cannot access AOFA settings

Hello Everyone,
I have Backup Exec 9.1 for Windows 2003 Server. I install the serial key for Advanced Open File Agent. When I go to the properties for the current backup job to cofigure AOFA, all of the options are still grayed out. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your time.

Hello Joe,

Perform the following to resolve the issue.

1. Remove the existing License Key of AOFO and reinstall the same.

2. Reinstall AOFO by referring the following Technote.

http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/258982.htm

3. Check for the presence of AOFO
- Open Windows Explorer
- Browse to %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers (%systemroot% is typically C:\winnt or C:\windows)
- Look for VSP.SYS. This is the driver responsible for AOFO operations.

If no VSP.SYS driver is found, then the AOFO option is not installed

Hope this helps.
