Hey all,
Ive installed backupexec 11d on a test server running win2k3 sp2 and popped sharepoint 2003 on it too. I have been asked to test the sharepoint agent before we make a purchase,but I cannot get the server added to the server farm...all i get is the "Access denied message"
I have scoured abit and it seems that this is a known issue,heres what i have done.
-Installed Backupexec sp3
-Tried disabling "Check for publishers certificate revocation" and the option below that
-Install hotfix 38
-Installed the dot.net 2 sp which has the supposed microsoft fix for the issue (KB936707)
Other then that I am at my wits end...whats the point of having the agent if it doesnt work?
Any help would be much appreciated!
