Backupexec 11d schedule problem

I am running the latest build of Backupexec 11d with all patches through 12. On my backup jobs my full backups are scheduled to run every Friday evening. After it runs it skips a week instead of being scheduled for the following Friday. I have dleted the job and recreated but it still happens. I saw that patch 8 addressed a simular issue and I have it installed but did not fix the problem.

Anyone else still having this problem even with patch 8 installed.

I'm also still having schedule problems after installing HF8.

I started a thread about it the other week, but so far there has been no response from Symantec.

Also check the task scheduler in control panel to see if an older job is listed there.

gldim,  that is specific to CPS.  Is anyone experiencing this problem using CPS?

I have a similar problem (CPS is not installed) and posted about it here.

Yes try this I had to call the symantec guys on this one because I had the same issue here is the "work around"

1 Edit the job and note the current schdule setting

2 Set the job to Run Now and click Submit on Hold

3 Submit the Job

4 Edit the job again and set the job back to the schedule and remove the Hold check

5 Submit the job

This has worked for me every time. Good luck.

I also do not have CPS installed. I hope the solution to this is not to have to edit my jobs every week after they run to fix the schedule.
