Be4691RHF45_274789.exe Causes my sql to stop when the patch is applied. This cant happen on a sql production machine so please expalin to me how I should update this on my production server. The patch when tested caused the application to hang at about 75% complete and not restart the services.

Perhaps this patch needs to be pulled and evaluated further

Hi,

If I understand you correctly, you are trying to install Hotfix 45 of Backup Exec v9.1 4691.

Thus, to better analyse the issue I would like to know if Backup Exec is installed on a Windows 2003 server and whether you have any problems backing up the Shadow Copy Components on this server.

Also please let me know the version of SQL that is installed.
