Beremote.exe Runtime error when backing exchange mailboxes

Hi,

Having trouble backing up exchange mailboxes on win2003 std server(serv pack 1),
service pack 4 for BE.

I get a runtime error in beremote.exe, Have removed and reinstalled BE several times and applied all updates I have been able to find.

Backup jobs work succesfully for any data other than exchange mailboxes.

Any help greatfully appreciated

The exact error is as follows:

Microsoft Visual C++ Library

Runtime error!

Program: C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Backup Exec\NT\beremote.exe

This program has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Hello,

Please follow following Steps:

1. Connect to the Exchange Server and Open regedt32 on the Server.
2. Browse to the registry key given below:
HKey_Local_Machine > Software > VERITAS > Backup Exec > Engine > Exchange > Bypass MBox properties
3. Change the above key's value to 1.
Note: Enabling this key will disable the auto-creation of Exchange mailboxes during a mailbox restore.

NOTE: it is recomended to export the registry before making any changes to it.
