Best Practices MSDE or SQL

I am installing Backup Exec 10 on a SQL server, no plan to implement the SQL agent for Backup Exec. Do I install Backup Exec into it's own instance of MSDE or do I use the SQL already installed? Does Symantec have a KB article to verify this?

It would be better if you install BE in a seperate MSDE instance.
