Best practices with Backup Exec 12.5 and VMWare

We currently are trying to figure out how to configure our Backup Exec server for optimal backup process which now takes about 13hours for a full backup with around 900gb of data.  However I haven't implimented VMWare servers yet.  What's the best practice for backing up VMWare ESXi?  We would like it to where when we restore the server we can backup the VMDK files.  I do have the VMWare addon for backup exec selected for backing up my VM's however it fails with a 0xe000955b error cannot run vcbmounter.exe, which I'm pretty sure is VMware Consolidated Backup.  I'm not sure exactly how to set that up on the VM's or if that's the way I should be backing them up.  Anyone have any suggestions or best practices for me?

Hi there,

Have you Install the VCB integration script in the VCBProxy server /

after that you can perform the backup.
