Best practise for restoring multiple virtual machines

Hello,

Scenario: I have a Hyper-V server with 7 hard disks and 2 virtual machines I want to restore with Backup Exec 2012.

Is there a best practise for how to setup the hard disk RAID arrays here?

I'm thinking two Disks in RAID 1 for the server O/S and the rest in RAID 5 to store the virtual machines. Is this the best way to proceed or is there a better method? Don't worry about HD size, it's irrelevant here.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hi,

This isn't a BE question, and is more of a Microsoft query. However, check the 2 links below:
