CPS Replacement / Alternative

With CPS being EOL in Backup Exec 2012, does 2012 have any feature that does "realtime" backups? We only need this feature for a few file folders that we must preserve realtime versioning of.

Unfortunately not , if you still want to use CPS please use backup version which is older than BE 2012 like BE 2010 ,but then in BE 2012 there is no alternate to replace CPS

Thanks

No.  There is replacement for CPS in BE 2012.  The closest that you can get to "realtime" backup is to do very frequent incemental backups.

Not to the last failure but only a point in time based on the last full and/or incremental. You can define the frequency by scheduling particular full or incremental backup jobs.
