Can I install on a Server 2000 machine?

I am newly hired and find myself with a NT 4 Server and a Windows 2000 Server. They want to remove the NT machine and all but 3 users are on the 2000 machine already (these 3 are running Win95 and are currently being upgraded to "new" (newer) machines). My backup is Veritas Backup Exec, version 7.3, Rev. 2570 and is loaded on the NT machine and backs up to a tape drive in each server.
With this version being so old, I'm having trouble getting documentation on whether or not I will be able to install it on the 2000 server once I take the NT server down. I don't think it's compatible, but I'd appreciate more experienced and knowledgeable second opinions.
If it is not compatible, does anyone wish to offer suggestions? This is a non-profit, small organization surviving on grants and donations. There is no money in the budget for $700 - $1000 backup software. I have one server and about 30 users, all running XP.
Thank you your help.

Yes v7.3 IS compatible with Win2K

I'd HIGHLY recommend upgrading to build 2575, tho. It's one of the best builds Veritas ever put out

Also, grab the POST2575 HotFix Patch and the Media Fix patch
