We are running Backup Exec 12.5 on our backup server along with CPS. We also run the CPS on another server to back up documents as they are changed. The 2nd server that was running the CPS crashed a while back and we had to rebuild it. After the rebuild with a fresh install of Server 2008 I have been trying to install the CPS agent with out any luck.
When I go to install it says that the agent can only be installed on server 2000/2003/2008, which I am running 2008. Then it gives me the options and I can only check the Administration Console. The CPS Agent is greyed out and I can't check it to install. I'm unsure what else to check from here.
Thank you

Are you running CPS on Server 2008 R2? If so, It is not supported. See the contrast between the SCL's of BE 12.5 and BE 2010. R2 is mentioned in the BE 2010 SCL, but not in the BE 12.5 SCL.

No it isn't R2 it's just Server 2008 Standard 32bit.
