When we had Veritas BUE 9.1, we used to backup our Exchange Server's Message Tracking Logs using \\Exchsrvr\Server-Name.LOG\*.* After upgrading, we can neither backup this location (it is not selectable) nor can we backup it's non-share counterpart (\\Exchsrvr\X:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Server-Name.LOG\*.*).
Each time, it results in the following error from Backup Exec 11d:
Backup- \\Exchsrvr\F: Exchange Logs
V-79-57344-65218 - A failure occurred accessing the SnapShot handle.
What gives? We only keep seven days worth of these logs in Exchange, and have been relying on our backup system to record them to tape in case we need to go back further than our retention period.
We do not have AOFO licensed and have never needed it to get at these files before.
