Can't catalog after rename tape

Hi,

I don't can a catalog for my tape after rename tape.

I have catalog compteted but the system can't see the files on the tape.

Did you got any byte count for the catalog job?

when use label media it erases the data on the tape .

If you have used the rename option it would not delete any data.

Check if there is there is any filter which is set for restore selection list . You would find this in the restore job properties , show catlog begining date and end date .

Just curious, how you lost catalog. Rename is a reversible operation, so just give it the old name, do you see the catalogs?
