Hi, i'm new to backup exec, and i can't get it to recognise any tapes. I put a brand new tape in the drive, tell it to do an inventory, and it looks like it is doing something, but never completes.. I've left it inventorying a tape over night, and still nothing!
I've tried new tapes and also tapes i've previously used in Yosemite backup, Either way I can't get a tape recognised by the system.
My tape drive is a Freecom Classic USB DAT-72es external USB, and i'm running Windows Server 2003
Help!
