Cancel Pending in Job Monitor

we have a job that's still in a cancel pending status and has been for approx. 120hrs. We cannot change the status is there a fix for this besides rebooting the server.

We are using Veritas Backup Exec v10.0

Shutting down the Backup services and then restart them should do the trick. You will probably get a "timeout" from the Job Engine a couple of times, but just keep trying.

Stopping services doesn't always work for me. I usually end up having to end process for bengine.exe. This is the process for Backup Exec Job Engine Service.
