Cannot Install Hotfix 48 or 51

Hi all,

I am getting the following errors whenever LiveUpdate runs

Backup Exec Alert: LiveUpdate Error
(Server: "SEAGARS1") Update BEWS 11.0.7170 HOTFIX 51 (32-BIT) failed to install.  Review the Backup Exec installation log for more information. 

Backup Exec Alert: LiveUpdate Error
(Server: "SEAGARS1") Update BEWS 11.0.7170 HOTFIX 48 (32-BIT) failed to install.  Review the Backup Exec installation log for more information. 

I have tried manually updating them from symantec but then I get the following error

"The following patches need to be installed before this patch can successfully continue.

{C6d7f187-5455-494b-a983-7dea9ef9f941}"

A google search on that doesn't come up with anything useful.

I checked the Installed updates and I have Service Pack2 and Hotfixes 31-46 except 35 and 45. This is for BE Version 11.0 Rev. 7170

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm seeing the same problem.  The only difference is the server is x64.

I reviewed the install log (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Backup Exec\Logs\Vxinst.log and it indicated SP3 has to be installed before 48/51 can be installed.

I'm downloading it now and will post back on the results.

That worked.   48 & 51 installed after SP3 installed (required a couple reboots though).
