What is the proper procedure to back up DFS shares under 12?

Has there been any improvements in the backup of DFS shares?  The current method of disabling DFS to do the backups is awkward and too prone to failure.Message Edited by Dennis Thornton on 03-10-2008 09:23 AM

My backup job last night was missed (BE couldn't find the library).  I didn't get a email notification.  How do I set it to notify me if a job is missed?

I used DirectAssist several months ago.  It took over 6 weeks to get a non answer.  I'm trying it again and I'll post my experience here.
