BE 11d on Win 2003 SP1 - customer is trying to backup the linux box as a share, but when they select the share in the selection list, they get the following error:
"An error was encountered while attempting to browse the contents of 192.168.0.5. A network connection to the server could not be established. "
Backup Exec is running with Domain Admin rights. The Samba share is accessible via Windows Explorer but when expanding it in the Backup Exec selection list, the problem occurs.
There are no packet filters or firewalls enabled. They also created a Backup Exec account and gave it Domain Admin rights but same error - nslookup resolves fine as well. They have rebooted the server after making any changes, but still same problem. They have tried using the share name and IP but same error message.
