Cannot connect to exchange mail boxes

have Backup EXEC 10d and when i select to backup exchange mailboxes i get:
logon account failed to access microsoft exchange mailboxes. Access is denied.

Exchange is installed on the same server as backup exec.

This does it no matter what account i pick even administrator.

the backupexec service account must be associated with a Mail Account that has admin rights within Exchange.

In addition to Ken's reply here, Please ensure that you rbackup exec logon account in use for this backup has:
- full exchange admin rights
- It has an active mailbox on the exchange server and that its name is unique in the exchange organisation.
- The account should be visible in GAL.
