Cannot extend Backup Exec demo license with EVExtend

Hi,

I have Backup Exec 10d running on Windows Server 2003. I am on Day 63 of my 60 day trial. I purchased the license, but asked to have an extension to help me until I receive the license.

Someone from Veritas sent me EVextend.exe to extend my license, but it comes back saying"The Evaluation Period has not expired on this computer."

Any one have any ideas?

Hello,

Does it give you a message saying "The Evaluation Period has not expired on this computer"? Go to the tab 'tools- backup exec diagnostics' and run the diagnostics.This well generate the bediag file. Verify if the eval period has indeed expired. In case of additional information on extending the evan period, you can contact our sales team at the following link:
