Cannot overwrite media

1. I am not able to overwrite the media though the overwriting option has been checked.

2. These 2 days, the backup took extra time to finish, and on a different tape. Previously it took 4 hours plus to finish but now it will take forever.

Any advice?

What is Overwrite Protection Period and the Append Period you have set on the media set of which the media is part of ?


What is the exact error messaeg that you are getting ?
