Cannot push remote agent to a 2003 server Backup 2010

Recently upgraded to Backup Exec 2010, tried to push the remote client to one of my servers, and I keep getting the following error.

server02 List file not found: c:\winnt\Installer\{BE576FF1-DC46-4572-A110-3D0ACA97EC3D}\..\..VxPush\managed_RANT32_mediapush.lst

Browsing to the installer folder, the {be~} folder doesn't exist, there are lots of other ones that have similar names.

I've tried searching, not found an answer to this, please advise how I can push the remote file from my server.

As a workaround you can manuall install the Remote Agent on that machine until you can figure out why the push does not work

Jesse P did you find a solution to this issue. I am having the exact same problem. Backup Exec 2010 on Windows 2003 32 Bit media server.

The work around functioned in the interim, although the pathing wasn't totally accurate as it related to my install.

I've yet to find a pure fix, still waiting on word here if there's a real way to resolve this.
