Cannot update to SP3?

When I try to install the SP3 patch I get a message that says that I need to install "BE4691RSP1.exe" first. I tried to find the sp1 in the download section, but couldn't find it.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hello,

Please repair the Backup Exec installation and then install the SP3.
Refer the following technote.
Title:
Repairing Backup Exec 9.x and 10.x for Windows Servers

I have already installed SP3.

The solution was to install hotfix 52 before SP3.

Now, I still have a similar problem trying to install SP4 (requiring to install SP2 but already is).

I have installed all hotfixes after SP3, but it doesn't work.

Do you have any idea ?

Ok, I followed the instructions for doing a "repair", but I'm still getting the same error message. In addition SP3 is no longer available so I had to try SP4.

I have the Exchange and Open Files add-ons installed as well. Could it be a problem with one of those options?

Check out Simon's thread titled, "Here's how you can get SP3 or SP4 to install" <>. I tried it, and it works. Note: To make the VERITAS Update icon disappear from the system tray, I had to import all the Installer values back into the Registry AND modify the two REG_MULTI_SZ settings to include the SP4 GUID .
