Catalog and Restore with BE 11 from a tape made under BE10

Hi,

With BE11, I would like to restore a tape made with BE10.

I don't have the catalog anymore, so i tried a catalog wich ran well but, when i want to restore some data from this media, BE11 tell me that i should catalog it before. i did it twice, but the result is the same.

So how can i do this operation.

Should be no problem

Try this

Shut down all BackupExec services

Rename the \Catalogs dir  (to \Catalogs.sav for example)

Restart BackupExec

inventory and catalog the v10 tape

Don't forget to change the name back before the next production run
