Remote Agent Stops during Duplicate Job

All,
 
I have a duplicate job schedulde to run for Exchange backing up to tape. The job is linked to the Exchange backup and runs when it is finished backing up to disk. The job kicks off and runs but eventually fails with a communication error. When I investigate it I find that the remote agent on the local media server stops. I can re-run the duplicate job after it fails and it works fine. It just doesnt seem to work when its run automaticlly.  I have installed Hot Fix 22 and SP2, rebooted and still have the same issues. Can any help?

I've set the agent to restart after it first fails. It seems to have worked.
 
I have noticed that when trying a restore for the mailbox, I get an error Restore of local Exchange mailboxes fails with "Unable to attach to a resource" .
 
I am using the account to restore that has administrative rights on Exchange. This worked before I did all the updates. Does the GRT backup job need to be run using the same administative rights?
