Catalog import from backup exec 9.1 to 12D

I have upgraded server from Backup Exec 9.1 to Backup Exec 12 D . Now I want to import catalog from the older tapes. Is it possible to import catalog from tapes from backup exec 9.1 to 12 D. Can anyone please suggest

Will I be able to move the catalog from Backup Exec 9.1 to 12D. Are the 2 versions compatible .

I can't say 100% since there is nothing out on the Symantec site that is specific to going from 9 to 12 regarding just catalogs. I would just backup my current catalogs and try it. Keep in mind that the normal procedure for upgrades from 9 to 12 is to step to 10d first, but it sounds like that ship (possibility) has sailed.
