Catalog of one tape from a two tape media set

We have been backing up all our data at once accross two tapes.How i have split the one job into two jobs that run at the same time at night and it works great.

But now i need to restore files from a job on tape A which i can not see the resource option within the restore tab so i have been trying to catlog the tape and when i do that backupexec asks for the first tape which it has and catlogs the tape B which is a diffrent job and does not catalog tape A which has the data.

Had the job spanned from tape A to tape B? What message do you get while you try to catalog tape A? In case the job has spanned, you will need to catalog both the tapes before running the restore.

If the problem persists, rveert with details to the above questions.
