Catdump output is truncated

I have a client running Backup Exec for Windows Servers Version 10.1 Revision 5629 on a Windows 2000 Server. They want to get a printout of a particular catalog file and I have been using catdump to do this. However, it is truncating the text file that is output and leaving off the last 1/4 of the catalog file. I am reasonably sure I downloaded the correct version of catdump. What am I missing?

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

From which link did you download the utility? Does the utility truncate the file in the text version or during the printout?

Have you downloaded the utility from: http://support.veritas.com/docs/277184

The link you provided is where I got the version of catdump I am using. It truncates the file in the text version.

Thank you.

I am also having the issue where CatDumb is cutting off the text file it outputs to. It stops as soon as it reaches a size of 14,333KB. I installed hotfix 19 per the instructions above but still have the same result.

When CatDump is run the following is in the Event Viewer:

Faulting application CatDump.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module msvcr71.dll, version 7.10.3052.4, fault address 0x0002cf20.

I am running:

BackupExec 10.1 Rev 5629
Windows 2003 Server SP1
