HP 1/8 Ultrium 960 Tape Autoloader does not eject automatically

Dear Sirs,

I'm using Backup Exec for Windows Servers V 10.1 Rev. 5629 installed in Windows 2k3.
I did an job to automatically eject the tape from the robotic library after job finishes, but doesn't eject.
I'm using the latest drivers version from Veritas in my autoloader.
Can anyone help me please?

Hello Marco,

You will need to create policy wherein you can select a option called "Export Media Template" and then run a job.

But you will have to run jobs over policy.

Please revert in case of any clarification or doubts.

I already have a policy where I have defined that the tape should be ejected after job completed. Is this that you are talking about? If it is, this doesn't work...

Some devices does not support automatic ejection of tape.

We also suggest you to contact your hardware vendor.
