Changing Deduplication Data Stream Size in BE2012 ?

Hello,

The Read / Write performance of the Deduplication-Pool is very poor.
To my experience the Performance are factor 3x - 5x slower than B2D.
Has anyone ever changed the data-stream Size?
What experiences have you done?

I have but haven't seen any difference in performance overall, maybe a tad in write performance, but nothing significant. Have you benchmarked your disks to see what performance you can get natively? I would try a mixed workload benchmark too while youre at it.

in my opinion, after changing the Data Stream Size equal to the NTFS Allocation Unit Size, the read Performance increasing up to 3x faster than before.
the write performance had not changed significantly.

But Compression Rate Performance are the same ?
