Communications Failure

I am having this error, which runs any backup exec job.

Backup 0094 -- The job failed with the following error: A communications failure has occurred between the Backup Exec job engine and the remote agent.

Version we are using is Media Server Ver 9 Rev 4367

Appreciate if anyone can guide me.
