Hi
Not entirely sure if this is a hardware issue or software but here goes –
We swapped tape drives recently and moved away from a HP LT02 single drive and opted for a Dell LT02 Autoloader. Prior to the swap we were getting around 300Gb capacity per tape which I guess is good going. However since the hardware replacement (and with Veritas upgraded from 9 to 10) we only seem to be getting about 240Gb per tape which is someway under our capacity with the single HP drive. Could this be a hardware vendor issue with compression or possibly a Veritas setting?
Many thanks in advanced.
